Terms of use
Last updated: 16 October 2026
These terms apply to matchdays.ch and the MatchDays iOS app, run by Telescope. By using them you accept these terms. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
The service
MatchDays shows the fixtures and results of amateur football in Switzerland, taken from the public calendars clubs publish on football.ch, and the scores reported by its users. It is free to use.
We do our best to keep it accurate, but games are moved, cancelled and reported wrongly. Check with the club or the competition before you travel to a game. The service is provided as it is, without any guarantee that it is complete, correct or always available.
Your account
- You need to be at least 13 to create an account, and give your real name.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- You can delete your account at any time, on the site or in the app, under Profile.
Reporting scores
Signed-in users can report the score of a game. When you do:
- only report what you saw or know to be true;
- do not report false scores, to mislead or for betting;
- your report is public, with your first name and the initial of your last name, and stays after you delete your account, without your name.
We may remove reports, and stop accounts from reporting or close them, when they break these rules. To tell us about a wrong or abusive report, write to privacy@matchdays.ch.
What you may not do
- use the service against the law or the rights of others;
- copy its data in bulk, by scraping or otherwise, or overload it with automated requests;
- try to get into accounts or parts of the service that are not yours.
Content
Club names, logos and competition names belong to their owners. The design and the code of MatchDays belong to Telescope. Sponsors are responsible for their ads and the sites they lead to.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss caused by using the service or by information in it being wrong or missing.
Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed; using the service afterwards means you accept them.
Law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The courts at the seat of Telescope have jurisdiction, unless the law gives you the right to sue elsewhere.
